Epic Games Unveils MetaHuman Animator: A Game-Changer for Animators
MetaHuman Animator, first announced at GDC, was just released today. MetaHuman Creator is a tool that enables you to easily create life-like 3D characters for use in Unreal Engine 5 (or higher). MetaHuman Animator gives developers fine tune control over facial animations for their characters, including the ability to do facial animation capture using a single iPhone (12 or later) device or higher.
Today at GDC... and GTC... yeah, go figure, NVIDIA announced Omniverse for Game Developers, including a new connector for Unreal Engine 5 developers. In this video we look at what Omniverse is and why as a game developer, you should care.

Today Mojang announced they are begginning to open source key libraries that are part of the Minecraft game engine, starting today with Brigadier and DataFixerUpper, with possibly the renderer coming next. The code is released under MIT license and should at least make modding easier.
