My Minecraft Clone now has Clouds, Caves, Custom Sky and More! | Devlog 8 | OpenGL C++
In this devlog, my Minecraft Clone has gotten custom clouds, new caves, and a fully dynamic sky, among other things like fog, new trees and the start of a GUI. There is so much more to do in the future, I hope to see you again soon! Let me know if there is anything you want to see :)

Hello - Spent all day fixing a bunch of the graphical bugs, and just wanted to show quick how my engine looks like when its not all distorted hah. Someone also mentioned they would like to see the code, so in the near future I'll be planning to make a fork and share it.

Heyyy!!!! Quick update because I wanted to show off the new sounds, and the tiny voxels. The game engine is capable of rendering blocks at any power of 2 - its been capable of this for a while, but I finally get to show it off, hah. If you have any suggestions, let me know!

Much progress in this devlog! Continuing coding on the game engine, I have:
- Added shadows using the shadow mapping technique
- Reworked the biomes
- Fixed mipmapping (caused a staticky appearance on blocks)
- Added transparency to water, leaves, ice
