#dinosaurnationalmonument #camping #girlstrip hello guys! It has been a HOT MINUTE! We went to Dinosaur National Monument last May during the memorial weekend. It was a total accident...? We originally planned to go to "Dead Horse Point" in Moab, Utah. But we put in "Dead Horse Lake" instead and thought it is the same place.? After 3 hours of driving, we were way too far out of the direction!!!! That's when our journey begins... First, we couldn't find the ENTRANCE to the monument. We were directed to a very random campground. The first miracle happened here. We saw a park ranger truck coming, and they were so nice and let us follow them to the entrance! ?? Due to the last-minute trip, there wasn't any available campground. However, a park ranger told us about the BLM land campground. We found this very private and beautiful ground to camp. Second miracle!!!!??? The third miracle came when we wanted to go to the dinosaur museum. We didn't book the ticket in advance, so we needed to go be in line to take the tickets that people canceled or not booked. And of course, we got it!? This trip is full of miracles, blessings, and laughter! I would never think about coming here if we didn't go the wrong way.
