I really liked the idea of a starting a song out super generic sounding and basic and then fucking it up to complete insanity

lyrics:
You thought you'd win
but you've lost it all
you thought you could laugh
but you've got no room to stand on
you look down on this
sound-sick silent catastrophe
I've found no hope in gathering in your sensations
And now you're displeased
so now i must change
so you may be
comfortable
go fuck yourself
your lack yourself
don't tell me how i should be
don't give me that "normalcy"
your peace of mind
I have learned
to escape
the way you are
I have to unlearn
everything you say
i'll find my way

Still new to finger drumming on the drum machine :p
When I started trying to "one man band" some music back in 2017 with the "Existential Crisis" I had just a rocksmith cord I plugged into my laptop and I used mixcraft drums with my laptop keys for midi.
My computer was capable of doing 80 tracks a song and It was very fun layering and experimenting.
in 2018 I got a shure sm58 microphone and attempted recording my real drums with it and I used it to record my guitar.
My computer started crashing after recording about 25 to 30 tracks a song and it became more annoying trying to write while dealing with limitations and having to leave things out I wanted in songs.
Later in 2018 I had to move to an apartment and get rid of my drums so I bought EZ Drummer 2 but still used my laptop keyboard to literally type out drums creating very fake "machine gun" effect sounding drums. I also got a Focusrite Solo Gen 3 Interface.
Making music basically became unfun and impossible because of the limitations my computer created making it not even worth trying. It'd crash after 10 tracks.
Now I still have the Shure Sm58 microphone along with an MXL 990 condenser Mic I don't really ever use because it's makes things too bright and tinny. I have an Akai Drum Machine so I can now tap out drums with more realistic pressure settings , A few guitar simulators I use direct in through the Focusrite.
I really want to create more songs but havn't been able to make anything i've wanted in 4 years due to my computer getting so bad.
I'm focusing on writing now and then and once I get a new laptop, I'll record more and better things.
