沒想到台灣團隊的高空煙火秀之後還有一場更精采的煙火秀做為 2010台南正統鹿耳門聖母廟[新春嘉年華．元宵不夜城]的閉幕煙火秀,這一次似乎是台灣,日本,瑞士 三個國家的煙火團隊同時施放,期待大家明年元宵節台南正統鹿耳門聖母廟再相見. 2010年2月28日適逢農曆正月十五,也就是元宵節,每年此時台南正統鹿耳門聖母廟都會舉辦[新春嘉年華．元宵不夜城]廟會文化一系列活動,另外每年元宵夜重頭戲的國際高空煙火及完整十門蜂巢式巨型炮台的蜂炮施放,總是吸引許多人前往觀賞。

2011年2月28日晚上八點的台灣燈會主燈秀及煙火秀.當天晚上因為有濃霧的關係施放的煙火看不太清楚。 2011年之主燈，由中華電信股份有限公司贊助，並由世新大學曾永義教授命名為「玉兔呈祥」，以活潑、快樂、可愛、富足、時尚為設計理念；結合民俗、文化、藝術、科技，展現精彩一百的元宵慶典。主燈設計、製作及展出事宜，由耀進有限公司團隊承攬辦理，設計構想以台灣野兔-「皚兔」做為造型依據，硬體創作理念兼具藝術唯美、時尚創意及文化風情之特質，以「玉兔呈祥獻采、祈福迎春旺來」為設計意象。 玉兔造型為頭戴無線耳機，身穿背心，並手持元寶，呈祥獻采，象徵財富聚集之意，財源生生不息，國富民安樂。元寶上標示「中華民國，精彩一百」的LOGO，慶賀建國百年輝煌燦爛、國人齊心共同邁向中華民國100年。在主燈整體燈效上，除以現代科技結合傳統文化，並導入創新科技的思維，以燈光工藝藝術的手法，雕塑主燈不同以往的效果，除以工研院研發全像片燈效外，並為追求及符合國際趨勢與潮流，倡導綠色環保、節能減碳的世界觀及國際化的概念，開創以最新高科技節能LED及高效能節能光源，展現世界第1座LED光源設計製作，並以科技數位化控制的巨型藝術燈籠。 The main theme lantern for the 2011 festival is sponsored by Chunghwa Telecom and christened the "Auspicious Jade Rabbit" by Shih Hsin University professor Tseng Ying-yi. The design captures a spirit of energy, joy, charm, abundance, and style, integrating folk traditions, culture, art and technology to dazzling effect for this year's ROC centenary Lantern Festival. The main theme lantern is designed, created and presented by Acropro Inc. Based on the shape of a Formosan hare, the lantern embodies aesthetic, creative, and cultural elements to convey the theme of "Jade Rabbit Blessings of Fortune and Prosperity in the New Year." The Jade Rabbit lantern measures 20.5-meters high and weighs 30 metric tons. The rabbit is wearing wireless headphones and is clothed in a vest. It holds a golden ingot presented as an offering symbolic of wealth and well being. The ingot is inscribed with a logo reading, "Glorious Century for the Republic of China," to celebrate the nation's centennial birthday with a spirit of national unity. The lantern also brings together modern technology, traditional culture, and artistic lighting techniques to innovative effect. The lighting display uses hologram technology developed by the Industrial Technology Research Institute, eco-friendly LED lighting sources, and digitally controlled effects.
