from Wikipedia; *The Sphingidae are a family of moths (Lepidoptera) called sphinx moths, also colloquially known as hawk moths, with many of their caterpillars known as “hornworms”; it includes about 1,450 species. It is best represented in the tropics, but species are found in every region. They are moderate to large in size and are distinguished among moths for their agile and sustained flying ability, similar enough to that of hummingbirds as to be reliably mistaken for them. Their narrow wings and streamlined abdomens are adaptations for rapid flight. The family was named by French zoologist Pierre André Latreille in 1802.* ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcQEpEB1-hA
Riding the big kid's slide at 3am, you're never too old to enjoy screaming downhill on your butt-sled. When your knees have had it, and you just can't walk anymore, it's the only way to go.

This broke my heart. Met this raccoon last night and it seemed off at a glance, so I followed it and called it to me with a snack. I sat in the middle of the road for about twenty minutes with this little critter last night, it was dark and I couldn't tell the extent of it's injury until it licked me. poor thing has had it's nose and upper jaw taken clean off. I'll be doing everything I can for this animal now.

Stopped at a dispensary in Wilton, ME. headed up to Sugarloaf, then on to Eustis and Rangeley lake for a little road trip with the bro. Saw this gorgeous saltwater tank and had to take a video. Stunning reef work and excellent biodiversity, a beautiful and dutifully kept saltwater tank. The edibles were great too!

My cricket farm with multiple species of native wild Maine crickets for a indoor chirp chorus ambiance. There's hundreds of them, so it's never quiet. They sound different at night than during the day, especially the tree crickets. The cricket farm has been going for three weeks now and they're all settled in and much audibly calmer than a week ago. They're getting old but a healthy diet has kept them laying lots of eggs. Should be able to keep the sounds of summer going in here all winter if I've read up on this right.

Cooked off a few packs of sirloin strips and a good 13 burgers for the crew today up on the mountain. We've been working hard to get these pipes laid, from blasting, smashing, excavating, and of course Sending, every kind of rock these Oxford county Maine mountains have to offer in all their extreme diversity, and the challenges that can present. Welding a system of large underground pipelines up a rocky mountain is a wild ride. These breakfast and lunch cookouts are my way to keep morale high, and our crew ready to kickass. It's a good group I'm proud of em'. This is how I show the love, it's definitely been well received.

I really wanted to edit this and some of the clips of the trip along the way into one video. But Microsoft is pure cancer now and doesn't include basic programs like movie maker. So, despite buying a new laptop and downloading multiple editing apps, there was no cheap program that would allow me to simply stitch together HD video clips and save them as one video. I wasted over ten hours messing with creating a Microsoft account, updating, and then trying to find an app that works. None did. What an absolute joke.
Tl;Dr Apps for english speaking people are made by people who can't speak english, and Microsoft is a bad joke. That's why nice videos aren't allowed for people like me. You get the clips instead.
