It is important to know the schemes of the enemy so that we can resist him in times of temptation and deception. In this episode, we will talk about one scheme that the enemy uses, which, if understood, can enable believers to say "No" quickly and with courage. This in turn will enable him or her to overcome the enemy's tactics.

Spiritual failure is something that all of us experience in our lives. It is the feeling of being stuck in a rut, feeling disconnected from God, or feeling like you have let the Lord down. It can be a difficult and overwhelming experience, but it doesn’t have to be. Through Jesus Christ, we can be restored and experience God again no matter how many times we fail. Jesus came to earth to provide salvation for us and to bring us back into a right relationship with God, not just at the beginning of our relationship with Him, but all throughout our lives. In other words, He promises to restore us daily, especially when we fail.

Traveling Together | By Pastor Bong Baylon | RLCC
Traveling the Road to Forever is not a solo sport. You do it together with the person or persons who you want to experience lasting relationships with. All parties must do their part, otherwise, the journey will fail. As we have learned, it takes a Spirit-filled person to navigate the Road to Forever. But, we must add, that it takes two or more Spirit-filled companions to make that journey possible for everyone. Doing it alone will not be enough.

7 Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. 8 Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, 9 and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: “For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name.” 10 And again he says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!” 11 And again: “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!” 12 And again, Isaiah says: “There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.” 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:7-13)
The church must not be a place of rejection or segregation but of acceptance and love. Unfortunately, this does not happen automatically. People who become followers of Christ through faith in Him must be reminded that they are not simply saved individually for their own individual comfort. They are saved to form a community of faith that is inclusive for all kinds of people. Forming such communities of acceptance and love must be our priority as we follow Christ in this world.

Main Idea: “We must accept one another because of Christ.” (“Dapat tanggapin natin ang isa't isa dahil kay Cristo.”)
Why should we accept one another?
Three Important Reasons
1. Because of the example of Christ (7).
2. Because of the mission of Christ (8-9).
3. Because of the vision of Christ (10-13).

Apprehension means fear, worry, anxiety, dread, etc. Have you ever felt those emotions? Jesus did. That's why He knows and understands us. Some of us might think that Jesus never felt those things. We assume He is so brave, so courageous. But the Scriptures would tell us otherwise.

Confidence in Facing Challenges | By Pastor Bong Baylon | RLCC
For Questions, Comments, Feedback - https://galas.fm/episode/dcda451b-7c36-5cb0-bfed-a349256af818
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. 3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. 4 One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. 5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. 6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord. 7 Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me. 8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek. 9 Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior. 10 Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. 11 Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors. 12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, spouting malicious accusations. 13 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. 14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. (Psalm 27:1-14)
There are many things that can make us afraid in this life. Aside from the uncertainties, there are also the challenges that come our way. How we wish we can be confident! But often we are anxious and afraid because these things are bigger than us. We cannot control them. So we try our best to be self-confident, but in the end such confidence is not enough.

We need to enhance our ministry to make it more effective. Sometimes, we become content with mediocrity, which has a negative impact on our ministry. Instead of seizing the opportunities that the Lord presents to us, we either miss them or fail to make the most of them. We need to repent of this.

Text: Luke 11:37-54
Being a spiritual leader is a great opportunity to do something good. But it is also both a duty and a danger. The duty of taking care of God's people is of course very important. The Lord wants us to shepherd His people according to His will and purpose. But doing so can also be dangerous, especially when we do not pay attention to our own hearts. We can end up hindering God's work rather than promoting it.

Central Idea: “Being a spiritual leader is both a duty and a danger.” (“Ang pagiging espirituwal na lider ay kapwa tungkulin at panganib.”)
What are the dangers of being a spiritual leader?
Two Dangers
1. When we focus too much on external appearances rather than on our souls (vv.37-44).
2. When we focus too much on the letter of the law rather than on God's real intentions for His word (vv.45-54).

The Privilege of Prayer | By Pastor Bong Baylon | RLCC
8 Once when Zechariah’s division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God, 9 he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to go into the temple of the Lord and burn incense. 10 And when the time for the burning of incense came, all the assembled worshipers were praying outside. 11 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. 12 When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. 13 But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. (Luke 1:8-13)
A lot of people struggle with prayer. It seems that praying for a lot of people is a burden that is hard to carry. With so many things to do, some people think prayer is just a distraction or a waste of time. If ever, people pray just because they have to or it is expected. But they don't think it will make much of a difference. In contrast, there are those who understand that prayer is actually a privilege.

Do you want to know more about God's will for your life? You need to know the difference between deciding and discerning. Those two spiritual tasks are equally important but they are different from each other.
