While the information is for any gender, the real-world experience obviously comes from being male and what inherent disadvantages males have when walking into family court. This includes: ●Knowing the realities of being a man/father in the Family Court system ●The most effective approaches ●The most effective ways to present information ●The most effective ways to act around your kid or kids● And (As I am really learning now) how to fight back against highly prejudicial court rulings Brief Bio:1.Was married a little under 10 years2.Separated in 2014 3.Divorced in 20154.One child (daughter)5.Bankrupted due to legal fees6.Had to fight back from almost zero time with my daughter because of the accusations made. a.It took almost three years, b.The input of six therapists, c.A police investigation concluded there was no evidence or behaviors tosupport the claims for the Court to change custody. d.BUT, I will never have my name 100% cleared since there is no way in thelegal system to rule someone in this situation to be found innocent. e.My friend Stetson, who was accused of domestic violence when the police report said there wasn't any has spent years getting that evidence properly admitted because all it took was the unsubstantiated accusation to be considered a valid factor. 7.This took a lot of tenacity and luck inside a system that is devastatingly biased towards mothers. This also included a well-regarded Female Therapist who testified three separate times on my behalf to help change things.
